TRAINING PROGRAMME
on
SUSTAINABLE WETLAND MANAGEMENT
This programme has been developed for use with local and international NGOs working initially in Eastern and Southern Africa. The precise nature of each programme delivered will be adjusted to the requirements of the customer organisation. In general it is expected that these courses will be run by staff from the Centre for Wetlands, Environment and Livelihoods, at Hudderfield University with regular inputs from Wetland Action, one of the Centre's partners. The course will increasingly be run by associates from the countries where the courses are required and in time a franchise arrangement is envisaged. Courses will be run overseas, probably linked with local partners and their facilities – such as EWNRA in Ethiopia, and will involve a two to four week programme.
